From 2016-2019 each May and November, Rebus was contracted by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to run a four week Acting and Performance program for soldiers with physical and/or psychological injury, as part of the Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills (ARRTS) program. Participants chose between Visual Art, Creative Writing, Music and Rhythm, and Acting and Performance, and worked with tutors over four weeks to develop a collection of works, songs, or performance pieces that were presented to an invited audience of friends, family, and ADF personnel.

Rebus helped participants tell their stories through a range of theatrical forms including monologue, short scenes, song, mask, clown and mime.
