We’re thrilled to announce our official opening night in Canberra on 31st July. Join us for a powerful, one-of-a-kind theatre experience: Stages of Empathy – Rebus Theatre’s most ambitious and transformative production yet.

Fresh from a national tour at community organisations, Stages of Empathy lands in Canberra for a special public performance – and you’re invited.

Through immersive, interactive storytelling, this groundbreaking show challenges assumptions, sparks conversations, and builds bridges. It shines a light on the experiences of autistic people, people with intellectual disabilities, and psychosocial disabilities.

After the show, enjoy drinks and nibbles while meeting our new CEO, Lucien Simon, and discover how your organisation can bring Stages of Empathy to your staff or community.

Tour Update

We’re excited to share that Stages of Empathy is currently on tour across Victoria, ACT, and New South Wales! We’ve been performing for a wide range of community organisations—from conferences to circuses—and the feedback has been incredibly positive. In the coming weeks, we’ll be visiting Sydney, Nowra, and Albury. The tour is booking up quickly, so if you’d like us to perform for your organisation, please get in touch as soon as possible. The tour runs through to December, and it’s completely free for organisations to host a workshop or performance and we would love to bring Stages of Empathy to your community.
