That’s a Wrap on ‘AnOther Home’
AnOther Home has come to a close — and what a powerful few days it’s been.
Across four days at Woden Library, young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds came together to explore creativity, culture, and performance — many for the first time. Through theatre games, storytelling, and devising their own scenes, they built confidence, made new friends, and shared their voices in a safe, joyful space.
Survey responses from families told us what we hoped to hear — that their children felt more confident, more connected, and more included in their community. One parent told us:
“Thank you for your time and support + encouragement with our children.”
