A major ACT-based initiative using research, co-design and Forum Theatre to transform how people with disability experience public transport.
Transport Transformed brings together people with disability, transport workers and industry leaders to identify barriers, challenge assumptions and create tangible pathways for change.
Gathering research and insights, real-world scenarios are developed into immersive Forum Theatre experiences performed by artists with disability. These sessions place transport staff inside moments of everyday interaction, inviting them to actively practise inclusive behaviours.
The project aims to create lasting change across the ACT transport sector, with learnings, training models and resources shared to support more accessible journeys beyond Canberra
