Rebus has made the difficult decision not to return to face-to-face classes in 2021.
While this was a difficult decision, the Board and Management Team decided it would be safest for Rebus to observe any ‘community transmission fall out’ that may arise from current easing of restrictions, without putting our participants at further risk, many of whom are classified as highly vulnerable to the virus. Protecting the safety of our participants and staff is paramount to the organisation.
We want to acknowledge that for some people this news is going to be sad and difficult. Rebus is currently doing all we can to increase people’s sense of connection via ZOOM. If there is anything more, we can offer you, please get in touch.
Drama and theatre programs are, in their nature, about connection and physical bodies existing and responding together. The Rebus team will be spending this time working to ensure our policies and procedures are prepared for operating our programs in the new Covid 19 normal world.
