Share your stories with The National Museum of Australia (NMA)!
The NMA proudly supports people in the community living with disability, and celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) every year.
This year, the NMA invite inviting people of all ages who live with a disability to become part of Momentous – the Museum’s award-winning online digital exhibition. Add your voice by sending a video, a photo, words, or anything else you would like to share.
Then join online at 6.30pm on Friday 3 December 2021 to see your contributions unveiled as part of our exciting Momentous IDPwD event, featuring performances and presentations from artists around Australia.
How to contribute
Step 1 – Prepare your story
Visit momentous.nma.gov.au for inspiration.
You can write your story down, create an audio recording, film a short video or take a photo.
Step 2 – Submit your story
When asked what your story is connected to, select “International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)”.
