The NMA proudly supports people in the community living with disability, and celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) every year.
This year, the NMA invite inviting people of all ages who live with a disability to become part of Momentous – the Museum’s award-winning online digital exhibition. Add your voice by sending a video, a photo, words, or anything else you would like to share.
Then join online at 6.30pm on Friday 3 December 2021 to see your contributions unveiled as part of our exciting Momentous IDPwD event, featuring performances and presentations from artists around Australia.
When asked what your story is connected to, select “International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)”.
Contributions received before Monday 29 November 2021 will be unveiled during the IDPwD online event on 3 December. All submissions will be displayed on theMomentouswebsite until January 2022 and then remain in our archive.
