Vision
On November 4th, 2023, a quartet of players from the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra are visiting Mallacoota. These are some of the finest musicians in the land, led by violinist, Sophie Rowell, and award winning Baritone, Stephen Marsh.
They will be performing a concert for the Mallacoota community at 2.30pm at the Mallacoota Golf and Country Club
In addition, the MCO players will participate in a collaborative workshop and presentation with our local musicians, young and old.
We make up music. They play it with us.
This will be the 4th iteration of this deep sharing and collaborative relationship. Previous collaborations include: BeachFiddle with Bridie, Lisa, Padma, Char, and Marie, and music/works by Charlotte Martin, Justin Brady, Diana Wolfe, Riley and Larry Grey, Lila Eversgerd, John Grunden, Mattisse Turner, Amelia and others.
