Project Alchemy artists Deb Cleland will be running Movement Jam sessions from 4:30-6:30pm every Thursday and Sunday from November 19 – December 17 at the Batemans Bay Foreshore on the grass opposite Headspace Batemans Bay.
Movement Jam is a drop-in circus and movement session for all bodies, facilitated by Deb Cleland (Distaffik Collective/Cirque CBR). Come and try hula hooping, poi, or juggling in a safe, judgment-free zone. Under 15? Bring a participating adult.
Deb has previously run these sessions in partnership with Headspace and at Luminous: Celebrating Place on September 23 at Moruya Showground.
Project Alchemy is made possible with funding from the Australian Government for the Black Summer Bushfire Grant Program along with support from Rebus Theatre, ACT Government and Ainslie and Gorman Art Centres.
