Landed

Landed

A creative development of a physical theatre piece about women’s experiences of migration to Western Australia.

Three women on stage

Women who had migrated to Western Australia, from the 1970s to the present day, were interviewed about their experience of landing in a new country. These interviews were mixed with the experiences of the cast and women who attended drama workshops at William Langford Community House in Perth. These experiences were turned into a half hour performance using movement, sound and words by four actors, performed at the Western Australia Ballet Centre in 2018.
